Darbi's Gate Foundation
Darbi's Gate is a non-profit organization, founded by Rick & Stacie McFall after the tragic loss of their 11-month old daughter, Darbi Joyce McFall, in April of 2012. Darbi passed away after sustaining a traumatic brain injury that resulted from a fall down a flight of stairs not protected by a safety gate.
Approximately 90,000 children are injured in falls down stairs in the United States every year.

The reason for our work!
We Help Keep Kids Safe
Our foundation has two main goals. The first is to provide families with quality, properly installed safety gates that help protect babies and young children from stair falls. The second is to educate parents and caregivers about the significance of having properly installed safety gates in their home.
Need Financial Assistance?
We believe that EVERY child deserves a safe environment. That's why we offer financial assistance to families in need, which allows us to provide and install safety gates in the home at no cost to the family. Please complete our financial assistance form to be considered for assistance.
Need a Gate, But Don't Need Financial Assistance?
We still want to help you make your space a safer place! Families who are in a position to do so may donate whatever amount they're comfortable with toward the installation of safety gates in their home. Every donation helps other families protect their children. Learn more about donating.
If you are a business, we have several donation sponsorship levels to choose from. Please review our donations page for more info on sponsorship.
Thank you for visiting Darbi's Gate Foundation. Every safety gate we place helps ensure that our beautiful daughter will forever be remembered.
